How to build or use for winter

Looking for options on DIY to close off the bottom of my camper for winter time. I have a 300 gallon propane and water up to my camper. Not yet installed sewer. The sewer will be dropped straight down from the drain inside the enclosement but need ideas to how to keep it from freezing. Water hydrant will get a small building with heat wrap on the line but need to try to keep my underbelly not freeze point. I live in sd. Last winter we hardly got cold or snow but we had a solid 3 weeks of below zero I shut everything off n stayed at my moms farm house til it was warm again. I was told the oil pipeline guys enclosed theirs n had heat wrap n survived their camper experience in -21 temp in Feb of 2021. I wasn't able to. My water frozed n sewer drain pipe was solid ice. What fabric or fabrication can I do? I will check out the winter forum as well. I'm thinking of plywood with 2x4 to hold n maybe get some insulation of some sort. But how thick if walls n do I go around the slide-out or go along n cover the wheels?

Thanks!!!!

Jay-- Have you checked the ARCHIVES here on the Forum or gone to the Search engine at the top of the page for ideas. I know there are plenty of postings on this subject and if your check them out you'll find all kinds of hints that you can use to keep your unit warm and from freezing up during your South Dakota winters. Type in Spending Winter in the Montana or something similar to that and you should bring up a whole bunch of postings on the subject.

If you cannot find these let me know via PM (Private Message) and I'll give you a bunch of suggestions on how to insulate your unit for winter living.

Here is a link to the section in the forum regarding cold weather camping.

If you are on Facebook there is a group called
Let's stay warm together.
Lots of good tips there.
