New Here

We just purchased our first 5th wheel. We’ve had a TT bumper pull a few years ago but decided to purchase a 5th wheel to stay in while we try to start building a house. We are in Mobile, AL, right now.

We bought a 2014 Montana 3850FL. We haven’t moved in yet.

Sadly enough, we closed it up before Hurricane Ida came calling and went to open it back up today and when the kitchen slide tried to roll out—the roller broke off the heavy side…

So we are bummed that we have to wait to get it fixed before we can move in. Hoping to call the dealer in the morning to see if they can offer some help.

Cindy,

First welcome to the forum!

If you have trouble getting it into a dealer, recommend you consider a mobile tech which could be a quicker fix.

A few options:
-Google up mobil RV tech for your area
-Check with the local dealers they may have a recommendation
-Check with Keystone customer service for a recommendation

One of our members in your area may come on with a recommendation.

Welcome to the forum! To find a mobile tech near you, go to a local RV park and ask, they will have folks they know are good or not so good. You can also go to facebook and join the group Mobile RV repair across the us and canada and ask them.

Welcome aboard Cindy and congratulations on the trailer. Hope you get that slide out fixed, and get to start enjoying it.
