Power awning adjustments

I am new to the power awnings (2021 Montana High Country 334BH). Is there any way to tilt them once they are extended? I want to do this to let the rain exit off instead of puddle up. Also, do you have a procedure for how far to extend them out?

You can extend the awning as far as you like until the rain flap is vertical. If you extend beyond that point some awnings will roll up backwards toward the RV,

Mine you have to pull down on the elbow on each side of the awning.
