Pullrite hitch problem solved

I had been having a slamming issue on slow speed turns. It all started when I installed my Pullrite hitch a few years ago. Felt like someone ran into the fifth wheel. So I complained to Pullrite while it was still under warranty. Even sent a video showing the slack in the workings of the hitch. They were unable to help me. Said everything looks like it is supposed to. So, I've been badmouthing Pullrite, until the Montana Rally last week in Goshen.

Nick Moreland, with Pullrite, gave a seminar on their hitch. I explained my problem and he put me at the top of his list to inspect. In less than a minute he diagnosed it with one quick look and he was spot on. He fixed the issue free of charge. I bought the hitch used while still covered by warranty. Turns out that I didn't get the shim kit necessary when you have a Moryde pin box. The kit stops the side to side movements, which is about 2 inches. Now I really love my hitch. I highly recommend Pullrite and by all means, contact Nick if you have a problem with it. He knows his stuff!

Nick is great, I've worked with him several times over the years and referred folks to him when I didn't know the answer. He always made it right.

Another Pullrite/Nick fan. They are having an issue with the post on the 3900 and the new Lippert pin box. Nick really took care of us and between the hitch fix and the new IS, towing is really great.
