Goshen Bound-Again! Going I-80?

Ok, update.....telegram..... Navigator (Mynabird aka Mina) acquired sore throat when leaving California. (stop) Had to get thru mountain elevations for hubby's health. (stop). Today (Tuesday) leaving Henderson, Nebraska after spending 3 nights. (stop). Plan to stay @ Kellogg RV Park tonight. (stop). Planning arrival in Goshen late Wednesday (by the Grace of God!) STOP

Now, QUESTION .... How is ... How was I-80 going around Chicago? Construction? Should we go south & then east & north?
