Looking for a place to stay in Mission, TX

I think I posted in the wrong place the first time. We got here in Mission last night. We have a place to stay for 2 days or so. Any opening where you all are somewhere in the RGV around Mission, McAllen area? Recommendations? We got here earlier than planned because it was 16 degrees in Dallas and everything was frozen. Including us We're going out looking today(Sun) and tomorrow (Mon). My cell phone is 847-815-2062 if you know of any place available that is clean, safe and not too expensive. Suppose we are too late for all of those. ?

I have seen openings, in Bentsen Grove and maybe Mission West, but, I have not called or stopped by any of them. Maybe the Americana???

Bentzen Palm Grove, or if your 55+ the Green Gate is a very secure and clean place. Its a Gated park with Rv sites and Park Models. We have stayed and both places the past two winters. GBY....

I just called you by phone, I think you may be able to find a vacant site at GreenGate Grove, if your lucky. It is gated senior community, well kept and safe. There are several MOC members staying there at this time. Bill and Linda Collier #219 Jack & Lorraine are on site #423. Cay the office administrator can direct you to any site's that are still available for rent, she is a great gal. If your going west on 83 get off at inspration exit, at the bottom of the ramp make a left under 83. at that light go straight through and down two more signal lights to FM 2062 "BENTSEN PALM DRIVE" make a left turn south and go down approximately 4-5 blocks. Trade Winds Bus 83 in Mission had some vacant sites yesterday when I was driving by.

Sherry and Bob, We are at Oleander Acres on S. Conway. There are open sites here. Reasonable($345 + elec), clean, friendliest park we have been in. West on 83 get off at the Conway exit. Left at the stop light, 1 mile S. on the left.

We just canceled our reservation at Bentsen Palm Village. I'm not sure if they have a waiting list or not, but you give them a try.

Thank you all for the info. We got so lost looking around that we decided to just take the place where we knew where it was. So we will be at Mission Bell lot #226 on Bus Hwy 83 and Shary Rd for a month while we look around for a larger spot. It looks clean and has a nice pool and spa (my hip will love the spa). If we like the area we will look to buy a spot somewhere down here. We will check out the areas you have suggested. Once we are settled in we will look around. Thanks again!
