Clothe racks

Has any one attached a clothes rack to a wall in the 3120rl. I want to put one up in the bedroom near the TV. Two issues - would contact glue be better choice than screws. Not sure how much space is available between inside and outside wall. Really don't want to have a long screw poke through outside wall.

Thanks Brian

Clothes rack

What type clothes rack? I assume you mean on the wall either side of the TV? If I was doing it - I would first try to locate the studs in that wall, then I would put a 1x4 up there anchored across at least 2 studs. The 1x4 would completely span between the TV cabinet and the door frame or the closet door trim. The 1x4 could be finished nice to match as best you can. Then I would mount the clothes rack to the board. I would not count on any glue or expansion anchors to hold more weight than a wet tee shirt off those thin walls.

I added a second clothes bar in the closet behind the boor where the washer and dryer goes but I would try the command strips 1st or the command Velcro strips

The outer wall aluminum studs should be 1 1/2" square. That being said, any type of fastener such as a Command strip hook will only be attached to the plastic wall paper, and we have had the paper/plastic separate from the plywood wall. I would recommend screwing into the wall with some sort of anchor, unless you seriously are not going to put much weight on the hook.
