X-Factor Crossbeam Question

I've read previous post and most don't really pertain to my situation. Almost all of the previous post have older trailer or have the Mor/ryde suspension. I've looked at my suspension and it's made by LCI, the Road King (trailair). Trying to figure out which X-factor is recommended for my rig? I live in a cul-d-sac and have to back my trailer in to park it. I see the twisting the axles take and figuring I should do something to help support the suspension. Any ideas/recommendations would be most appreciated. Thanks in advance.

All trailer axles will torque in tight turns. This is normal. Just go forward and back a little to relieve the torque on the axles before you park. As far as the x factor goes, if you have a standard suspension, not IS (independent suspension), the three x factor braces will help distribute the stress from tire to tire and help with strengthening the spring hanger stress. I installed them on my previous rig and was very happy with them.

You can always just call them to get the correct part. (574) 293-1581

Mike, I too live in at the edge of a cul-de-sac and have to circle around it EVERY time I bring the rig home. I do not back in anywhere, but instead just pull up in front of my house. I can see the torque being applied to the wheels/tires as they splay apart while circling. I go as slow as possible and follow the very outside edge of our cul-de-sac to get as wide a swing as I can. I have been considering the Xfactor cross members for a while now and would be interested in your thoughts and experience with them if you end up going that route. Our rig is only 15mos old, and I am already having an alignment issue where the left rear wheel is wearing excessively on the inside edge. All 3 others are fine. I can't get it into the shop for an alignment until at least April, so I'm rotating tires to try and mitigate the wear.

Thanks for your replies

I will have to call More/ryde to help me determine which piece will work best. I was really hoping someone with my same suspension setup would have chimed in. No worries, it's still an issue I'm concerned with and needs to be addressed this Spring.

As I understand it, there are basically 3 versions depending upon whether you have Morryde suspension or anything else. In my case, I have the Lippert Road Armor with a blue equalizer. According to what I was told I need the UO21-003 X Factor https://www.amazon.com/dp/B007HRXZT2...v_ov_lig_dp_it
which is supposed to work with any system that is not Morryde specific. There is a Morryde specific version if you have any of their equalizer kits like the LRE, TRE, etc. Then there is also a 3rd version which is only used if you have the Correct Track system installed. According to Lippert, you can't get this aftermarket anymore, so you would only have it if your rig came from the factory with it. Since your rig is a 2018 model, I'm guessing you have the Lippert suspension like mine. Maybe even the Road Armor suspension. See photo. You can see the blue equalizer in the pic. There is also the same option with a yellow equalizer, which as I understand from Lippert is the same thing, but yellow indicates "aftermarket" where the blue is factory installed. The second pic shows the options from the Morryde website.

Perfect Timing

I was hoping someone with my same suspension would chime in. Thanks for the info and confirming what I was guessing I would need. This is my only upgrade I plan to do this Spring. Thanks again RMcNeal!
