Inverter info needed

We loaded all our cold and frozen food supplies in the fridge tonight for our trip in the morning. Went back out to pack more stuff and the fridge is 57 degrees, the inverter is off and hot. I turned it on and it las tr es a second ind or two and turned off again. No fridge for all our food? Frightening thought. What can we do?

Plug into shore power until you leave. The refrigerator will run on A/C and hopefully your converter will get your battery charged up.

Check your battery. The inverter in our unit will shut down automatically when the battery is drawn down too low. I think I read around 10.5 volts. Can you plug in first and get the fridge cold before leaving? I have a 2019 3791RD with the Samsung fridge on inverter. Our is the Magnum Dimensions pure sine wave inverter CSW1012 inverter. You can find info https://www.magnum-dimensions.com/pr...ter-csw-series.

RMcNeal, when I attempt to turn the inverter on, it will flash the voltage on the display, 10.3 this morning. Starting the truck does no good, which I thought would help??? Now I'm questioning the truck batteries as well. Slides are out, not parked near any power source, guess I'll break out the generator for a while.

If you only have 10.3 volts, the inverter is definitely shutting you down. Charging your batteries with the generator will fix in the short term. You might check your 7 pin connector on your TV to make sure the charging pin is actually working. Some Fords and maybe others require a fuse (not supplied by default) or in my case, the brake controller plays a hand and I must hit the brakes after being connected to get a voltage on the charging pin. Also, it may not charge if your battery disconnect is off, so check that too.
