Splitting the Tailgater Sat. signal

If your using a tailgater, has anybody figured out a way to split the signal for 2 separate receivers????? I'd like to split it going into the convenience center and feed LR and BR from one dish. I know most splitters won't allow the dish and receiver to talk.. What are ya'll doing for this issue???

Steven and Denise,

I ran a dedicated line without any splitters. You also need a receiver for each TV. A tailgater will handle 2 as long as the channels you want to see are on the same sat.

If you want more flexibility you can always use one of the home antenna systems.

How did you feed both receivers, without splitting it somewhere??? My tailgater only has room for one coax.

You must have an early model, the newer ones have two coax connections.

Probably, bought the tailgater and a vip211z receiver for $100. Works great. I'll check with dish to see if they know a way to split it!! Thanx for the info!!!!

You can't split the signal from dish to receiver. If your dish has 2 outputs, it most likely supports 2 receivers, each with its own RG6 cable from dish to receiver. You can then watch different channels, but only from one satellite at a time.

You can split the output of the receiver and feed multiple TV's, but they all will have the same channel.
