Sailun's tires have gone up $80 each.

Just checked on the price of new Sailuns on SimpleTire.com and about fell off my chair. Price went from $150 range (on sale) to $260 ($230 on sale)? The only explanation I can think of for that large of increase is tariffs?

I just checked again and you're correct. The higher pricing was on their site until this morning? Glad to see it was corrected. Thanks!

I ordered 5 Sailuns 637 ST235R80 16 last Monday from Walmart. $138.80 each. I just checked Simple Tire and each one would have been $180.40. They arrived today - with a Simple Tire sticker on each one. Go figure.

When you order tires like this where do you get them mounted?

Anyone shop with a tire machine can break them down and mount the new ones for you. Probably needs to be a strong enough machine to bust the beads off the old tires since I am sure the sidewalls are pretty stiff. Worse case is a shop specializing in truck wheels (big rig) can do it. Discount tire, Goodyears, Firestones etc are good places to start

Capitalism! What ever the market will bear. Saliums are good tires and in high demand so the price goes up.
