SOB??

OK,
I have seen the abbreviation used over and over, and I'll just have to admit I don't have a clue what it means? I know what it means to me but I'm positive that's not the answer. WTH is SOB??

Mark

Your not the first. It's not just teens texting who use abbreviations few understand. Since this is a forum for Montana's other brands are not to be mentioned by name.

SOB could also be the term for when you buy a new Monty with the junk tires they sell them with and you have a blowout that wrecks the side of your rig! Lol!

But, if you'ref a follower of the MOC, you wouldn't buy a Monty or SOB with those SOB Junk Tires!

Speaking of SOB tires. After 2 years I had a bubble on one of of my 10 ply Carlisle Tires. I was in St George, Utah and about 950 miles I did not want to take a chance. I stopped by Discount Tire and was able to pick up 14 ply tires, the brand is Hartland. They were $791.00 out the door. I know they are not Goodyear but they are a really good looking tire and a great price.

Reminds me of the first time I saw an advertisement for a flea market.
Who would buy fleas?

Hi

Try the amateur radio CW abbreviations.

CW continuous wave transmission (international mores code)

CQ Calling any station

YL Young Lady

XYL A married young lady.

K Transmission finished inviting any station to respond.

88 Love and kisses

Some of them get hilarious LOL

Or how about some air traffic control. "5 miles from the OM, TL heading 270, maintain 3000 til established on the LOC, cleared for ILS RWY 25 approach, report crossing the NDB." Pardon me, got carried away but I love the aviation acronyms.

Hi

Try that one with a German accent! Report over the San Waken beacon = report over the San Quentin beacon. LOL

40 years in the international aircraft delivery business.

Oh could you tell some stories...
Heard a Lufthansa pilot in training at Roswell, "We have the traffic not in sight." That one little word makes a big difference. Lest I stray too much from the OP, I think I'll start a new conversation around the campfire.
