Warranty Voided if GVWR Exceeded
Ran across this picture of the GVWR sticker from a 1954 Chevrolet Carryall. Note the warranty comment. I'm glad that's not on today's stickers.

4800 lbs? It couldn't tow my current car! 1954 Chevy Carryall, eh? With 105 HP at 3600 RPM. It must have been used to deliver styrofoam or back in those days, POPPED popcorn in bags. I don't think it could have carried unpopped popcorn.

btw - I wasn't even born yet.

That warranty comment is not on today's trucks, but I'd bet they still adhere to it...it would be "implied."
