WiFi mobile

Has anyone bought, thought, used, heard or disposed of one of these?

There's been a lot of discussion on the wifiranger. Seems I have seen more negative than positive about them. If you want good info on things try calling the "3G store". They are good at this stuff and will set you up with the right equipment for your needs and won't sell you what you don't need. I am not affiliated at all with them, just good company to deal with. Also consider Mellenicom for your wifi service. $59.99 per month for 20G and no contract. Cheapest there is out there!

I looked at the Millenicom website just now and yes they did raise the rate. I have been paying $59.99 for the last 3 yrs, and hadn't noticed the increase. They haven't increased mine the last time I looked.

Sorry for posting the wrong info! Still a better deal than most for 20G if you need that much with no contract.

Dave

I looked at WiFi ranger and overall thought it was a pretty good deal for piggy-backing off someone else's free WiFi. IE. Your site is at the rear of a campground and the campground's free WiFi is weak at your location, the WiFi ranger would improve the reception.
