sewer hose support

This set up has worked well for me for several years. Will not blow over in the wind and is simple to make, take apart and store. I have stored the base supports in the sewer hose bay along with a couple of hoses. Now it is stored in the storage bay up front in a plastic bin with other things. The gutter sections are in the front bay also.
The supports are made from 1/2" PVC and fittings along with simple vinyl gutter sections.
You simply use as many supports and gutter sections as you need.

Looks pretty cool! In your travels, what has the max number of gutter sections (how many of what length) and the max number of supports you have needed? What are the dimensions of your supports (from what to what height)? Thanks again.

I carry 3 sections of gutter about 4' long and usually use 1-2 sections and two of the stands. Four stands gives me the choice of about any height I need and if needed more length.
The stands range in height to the cross bar 6 1/2", 8", 9 1/2""and 11". The cross width is 7 1/2" to the inside of the post. You don't have to be all that accurate with the size. You can vary the height and the width, the width just needs to be enough to be stable.
Glue all the joints except the bottom of the legs that go into base. My bases are about 9" square. You can figure out the base as you build them. Build the base first then you can get the width of the cross bars.
The gutters serve as a holder for my dish tripod in the front bay when traveling. Like I mentioned I have carried the PVC stands taken apart in the sewer compartment with my sewer hoses. I prefer to carry them in the front bay in a plastic box.

I like this collapsible one from Camping World, it is compact and drains nicely.

I like the fuctionality of the collapsable system Ozz refered to. We have had some problems with the cheap hinge material breaking. Instead of one long system we now have three shorter sections due to hinge breakage but it doesn't affect the functionality.

You might want to look at the Sewer Solution. No need for support (in the counties that require "off ground", we put the hose on rocks).

? Counties that require "off ground"? That just seems strange, and the intent of that code is to?

We have that requirement around here in many places - it is because when you pull the plunger to dump, the hose jumps all over and springs leaks from rubbing.
We use a vinyl gutter when we can for the stinky slinky, and also use the Sewer Solution. I wasn't aware that using the Sewer Solution eliminated the need to keep it off the ground, but if so, another selling point for that one.

If you look at my picture closely, you will see metal mesh (gutter leaf do-dads) that cradle my sewer hose, also I made Velcro straps, I secure the hose to the mesh and support, as Ozzie stated it jumped around before I did that.

I like the mess gutter guards idea OZZ! Think I have a few laying around and they will to into the Monty next time out there! I have the slinky and had no problem when I dumped last time but can see a possibility of one so out come the gutter guards! Thanks!!
