I need help

When I was at Pinehill, my laptop got corrupted. I reinstalled windows, reinstalled AOL but one of my USB ports doesn't work.

I know NOTHING about computers. On/Off button is about all.

How can I get my USB port back or is it gone forever along with everything else I had on that computer?

I can still get on line using my cell phone, but my WI-FI light doesn't light up so I don't know if I can still get wireless. We are going to Hershey in the morning and they have Wi-Fi. Would like to use that during the day so I don't use up my cell phone minutes.

Carol, if you have a Dell computer the WiFi is turned on and off with the F2 button. There's a little tower symbol on the appropriate key. You might look for that.

No it's a HP. It has a wi-fi button that is suppose to light up. Doesn't. After I reloaded everything at Pinehill, I tried using Wi-Fi, but the button wouldn't work.

If you have not done it you will have to go through the install process for your wi fi including "network connections"..
