Cleaning inside of shower door
When camping somewhere that has hard water I have a problem getting the inside of the shower door clean. If I stand in the shower to clean it I get all soaked and have that lime away stuff all over me, and also the door pops open when you put pressure on it to scrub. If I try to stay on the outside and hold it open to clean it I can't rub hard enough and it looks terrible. Help.Since most campgrounds have hard water - what are you all cleaning yours with. I actually have very good success with lime away on the rest of the shower it is just the door giving me a hard time.

There is a rule in our Monty. That is "You shower, You wipe down the shower walls and the glass. I haven't had to clean it yet with any kind of chemical.I also have a squeege that I use. Like I say, I haven't had a problem yet. You might try that RainX. You clean your glass then apply it just like it says on the can. Works great on the cars. The hard water that the sprinklers spray doesn't stick. Try that. They sell it at Walmart. Kathi

Currently using one of those miracle type clothes, wipe down after the last shower of the day. Wipe down before I get out of the shower, hold onto the door when I do that portion. So far it seems to be keeping most of the marks and spots and soap scum down to a minimum. The one I am using reminds me of a shamee or felt??? That is a terrible description, so, try this, it is NOT thin like dishrag, but thicker like a piece of felt, I start out with it dry and wring out as it gets wet, like you would a shamee (SP?) I use no additional chemicals or cleaners.

I use the spray on stuff that keeps your shower clean and have not had any trouble with it at all for the past 2 years.

I follow the same rule as Kathi, you shower you wipe and squeege down the walls and glass. I run the bath towel down the gold trim on the inside to keep the spots off that. So far so good. The park where I am at all summer has really hard water, now if I could just figure out how to get the spots off the outside of the coach.

We use a product by Arm & Hammer called "Shower Clean" Spray a light coating after your shower and forget it. Wally World has it.

We also use the "Shower Clean" spray in the Montana and the showers at our stick home. We have been using it for years and it works great.

We use Tilex brand cleaner, just like in the stick house. It works real well.

Kathi,
Thanks for the suggestion. Now that we had 55mph winds with about 3 mins of rain and dust storms you can only imagine I now need to give the Monty a bath. Will try the rain-x to see if that helps.

I use Gel-Gloss. Keeps everything shiny and no water build up. We use the same method as Kathi too!
