Oregon Campgrounds
After the gathering at 7 Feathers in Oregon, Barb and I will leave for Bend, OR and later on to Hood River area. I'm looking for recommendations for either commercial parks or, better yet, one of the beautiful Oregon State Parks that have RV sites. We have stayed at a few.. but not along the river.
I see Ainsworth State Park, a few miles west of Hood River. Anyone know of that park and/or others in that general area that they would like to recommend. We'd like to stay for about 3-4 days with side trips to Portland area and to see some of the beautiful sites between.
Thanks... Bill

We are in Portland now @ fairview Rv park, nice spot on I-84. As far as Bend, we love Crown Villa, expensive but very nice.

Thank you..For Bend we usually stay at the Fairgrounds in Redmond.. pretty nice, IMO.. and the price is right. Close to Bend and Sisters.
Look forward to meeting you at the rally.. and hopefully, closer to home in the fall.
Were you picking up a new RV???

Yea, new to us but a used 2013. We got a bumper pull to replace a tent trailer that we have for the kids. It's a Vantage by Keystone, an Airstream knockoff that they only made for a few years. I guess it didn't sell as well as expected. Nice rig.
We had planned on heading home a few days ago, but we ran into a few issues and are heading back again this morning for what will hopefully be out last day at the shop.

We had a great campsite at Memaloose. We never noticed road or tain noise. Don't know why. We would surely go back there.

Scandia RV Park in downtown Bend is a nice park close to the Mill District for shopping and dining.
