Back home from a great summer

We have just returned home after a great summer on the road. (We had to come home. Debbie has to go back to work on Tuesday.) The first five weeks were spent doing camp ground hosting at Ft. Yargo State Park in Winder, GA. We had a great time and look forward to other hosting opportunities in the future.

The rest of the summer was spent in Tennessee, Virginia, North Carolina and Pennsylvania. We had a great week in Rodanthe, NC on the Outerbanks where our children and grandchildren were able to meet us for a week. We enjoyed the great seafood, crabbing on the Oregon Inlet and fishing off Ocracoke Island.

After spending 9 weeks on the road we didn't want to come home. This trip has confirmed for us that we definitely want to be fulltimers soon.

Anyway, its great to be back on forum and it looks like I have a lot of reading to catch up on. In another post I'll address a couple of problems we encountered with the rig as well as the solutions we came up with.

Yes welcome back. We also just got back tonight at 8:30pm from almost 10 days out with the Montana. Gotta be up at 5:45am tomorrow to get ready for work.

We too want to be full-timers. Guess we need to be buying those lottery tickets to see if we can speed up the process!
