Verizon card with antennas, repeater & router

Well, It is done. The antenna system with wireless router and Verizon Modem (air card) is installed. See what you think.
Verizon, Antenna, Repeater & Router
  • Ran the antenna cable through Non-metallic, sticky back Wiremold
  • Ran antenna cable through 1/2" Poly split Loom with 1/2" loom clamps to route under belly.
  • Used the existing belly pan screws to mount clamps
  • Found room in the water heater cavity to bring cable into the rig.
  • Used Velcro spots to mount interior antenna.

Darn! Just when I was thinking of throwing the trimmed end of a cable up over a tree branch, open a window for the cable, and put the router on the kitchen table - you had to show me how IT CAN BE DONE.

Great job, from KE5QG

Something must have corrupted the address. Try it now. I tried it several times and got it to work every time.

Show off..Show off..Let us know how the antenna works were you have it. We have ours mounted on the top rung of the ladder as that is as high as we could get it. Like your placement much better..

Nice job. Is that a Wilson Trucker antenna? How do you like it? We've been toying with getting one just in case we're in a place we need it.

Very nice install. Please let me know how the Cable Guide rides on the outside of the trailer.
Cheers,

Steve,

Yes it is the Wilson trucker antenna. My signal inside the RV was too weak to maintain a conversation on the cell phone. We would have to go stand outside to hold the call. Now we can easily maintain the call inside the rig. The UM150 Verizon air card is showing 4 lights indicating that a strong signal is being repeated.

John,

The Wiremold is nonmetallic sticky back. The sticky back is intended for interior use. To compensate for using it outside, a small screw is used on each end.
