I just replaced a set of Maxxis 8008ST's in size ST235-70R15 D on my 2004 Mountaineer TT. I never had a problem with them - just pulled them because they hit the 7 year mark in age - always kept them covered and parked on wood and treated / balanced / properly inflated. Upon close inspection of the dismounted carcases - they showed no sign of degrading or seperation in the groves or on the sidewalls.

I had no Maxxis dealer close by - or I would have bought another set.

Just my experience.
