Suggestion for Best Places to Post 5th Wheel For Sale

We are planning to post our 5th wheel for sale. We want to sell it ourselves so are not interested in working with sales people. Anyone have suggestions of the best places to post a nice RV when looking for serious buyers?

Also try https://nextdoor.com/find-neighborhood/ and you can advertise it for your local area.

And facebook also has a marketplace where you can advertise it local to your area. There is also a Montana owners facebook page where people sometimes advertise their trailers for sale.

Many use RVtrader.com or Craigslist.

We've sold a Goldwing and other high dollar stuff on Craigs list, you just have to deal with some folks trying to rip you off. We bought our HP from a local market place on facebook. We'd discussed having a second rig but were putting it off for a couple more years and there was what we wanted at a good price so we bought it. My advise would be to post as many places as you can and hope the right person sees it.

We got most results from and sold it from Craigslist. We also listed it on Facebook Marketplace. RVTrader was expensive and did generate very many leads.

I have sold 4 5th wheel trailers on Craig's list. There are risks involved and you need to be aware of them when posting there... Scammers, and possibility of bad people meeting you to look it over.

I am in a pretty safe part of the country, and I can protect myself so that has not been a huge concern for me in the past. I also know all of the scams and just ignore them when I see them.

I became aware trying to post a car dolley there a week ago that they are now charging $5 for posting in the RV section. I knew they had started that in the cars and trucks area, but I did not know that about RV's.

All my sales have been thru RVTrader.com and occurred in record time. It's more expensive than most but you get what you pay for if you have a good product at a comparable price.
