I would go and I would recommend James Island County Park. I think many here might be interested. If you should come to the Mid Atlantic, we could talk it over.

Unfortunately because of being a one man show in my business currently, I can't afford to take more than 2-3 days off of work at a time. Hopefully one day I'll actually be able to make it to the Mississippi River, and beyond!

I don't know why I thought you said Mid-West. Mid Atlantic has nothing to do with the Mississippi river haha.

2013 Mid-Atlantic Rally is 4hr 23 minutes from Ladson, SC. You don't have to say for the whole time, we are leaving Sunday, since we have other commitments. Looks like a straight shot for you. It will be the most fun you have all year, so please join us.

The regional rallies are typically planned sandwiched around a weekend, therefore three days off would be perfect to attend one of these type rallies. Come on up to Mt. Airy and join us at the beginning of August.

Unfortunately we have a trip on each weekend before and after that. The wife says we can't swing it. As soon as there's a date or time set for next year, we'll put it on the schedule! We already have 14 trips on the books this year.

Well, during the nice weather we like to take a weekend trip every 2-3 weeks. There's a lot of great parks within 3hrs of home, so it makes it pretty convenient. We took advantage of the Black Friday event for our state parks last year and most of our reservations were half off for this year! I'd rather use the RV than stare at it in the yard

Sounds great. A group of us Mid-Atlantic campers are going to James Island in January to celebrate Jim Fischer's birthday and mine and Carla's anniversary. We love us some James Island.

Hi all. This is the first time I've checked in on a regional rally page. De Je Vu slapped me right in the face when I saw Bullroc3's picture of his 2955RL and truck. It is almost identical with our first Monty. We also live in the Charleston area and can recommend Oak Plantation as well. We held our SKP Chapter 29 fall rally there two years ago and enjoyed it much. Also, When we were full timers we stayed there when we were in the area for a month or more. Can't do that at James Island.

We would come to a Charleston area rally, as long as it's during a school break. I work in a High School and my kids are both in (different) high schools. During the summer mid June to mid July are the best. Hopefully if it isn't planned for then, we'll be able to get to a rally sooner or later. I organized the first rally for our previous SOB fifth wheel owners and it was great getting to meet others, see their modifications and talk about topics we all had in common. That annual rally is still going strong ten years later.

We would possibly be interested depending on the date. June July sounds good to us.

Has anything been planned for 2014? Am I looking in the wrong place?
