This is how I secure my generator. I use a cable lock through the handle to the tie down hooks in bed of truck. That slows them down. Then I cut a slot in the bed of the truck where I store the generator. I wrap a "J" strap around the axle of the generator and the flat part of strap goes through the slot cut in bed of truck. I then put a lock on strap that is now on the bottom side of the bed of truck. I can't figure out how to attach a photo.

Thank you. Seems like everyone has something a little different. I appreciate you taking the time to answer my question. Merry Christmas .

Have had Onan on board generators before, so this should be a reliable one.
Did not want to get a Predator because of some of the problems others experienced.
What is the question here?

I do have a cover over my bed, but I cannot close it because the generator sits about 1 1/2 inches above the bed.
