electrical cords being stolen

Heard this on another RV forum. A lot of people have had their electrical cords stolen for the copper. One man lost his in his driveway. He was getting his camper ready for a trip and just went inside house for 10 minutes and came outside and it was gone. They cut it off up to the place that the cord was stored in the cord storage hole.
Price of copper is high now.
