Issues with new Lithium batteries

Hello everyone, I bought new lithium Ions for my rig back in December. I installed them a few weeks ago with full charge. It seems that when I'm plugged into shore power the batteries will not charge, but when I'm hooked up to my truck they charge just fine. Is this a battery issue or an inverter issue? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated? Thanks!

The 12V charge line from your truck goes directly to the battery. That is why it is showing a charge.

The converter (not inverter) in the RV converts 120V AC to 12V DC to charge the battery. It flows through several points along the way to the battery. The most common reasons for not charging the battery (in decreasing frequency) are:
  1. The battery disconnect switch in the convenience center is in the wrong position. If the Red Key can be removed, the batteries are disconnected and no charge will occur.
  2. One of the 50 amp self resetting circuit breaker (red plastic covers) near the battery has failed and is not passing 12V.
  3. You connected the battery cables backward (even if for only a second) and fried the reverse polarity fuses in the converter.
There is a description of the 12V flow in this Thread.

Thank You!

Thanks so much for your help Carl & Susan! The disconnect switch was in the wrong position. I turned it around and went inside and the voltage was showing 13 volts. So thanks again for your help in this matter, Very much appreciated!
