Drawings

New to Montana campers but 3rd camper in my life. I have a 2019 Montana 20th Anniversary. Love it and lots to learn about. I have read several posts here and watched numerous videos. I think I now know more than the rv dealer I bought it from. They give you false answers like a used car dealer. Whatever happened to just telling the truth or saying I don't know but I will find out???
Anyway, my previous camper had schematics and helpfull drawings. I was able to fix problems myself. With this camper, I have found that the owners manual is vague at best about most features. The manuals for the installed appliances and some features are about normal. Keystone does not offer much on their website and state that service centers can obtain technical data. My dealer tried but was told "No and not available to them (TravelCamp).
So my question is to anybody out there, do any of you have drawings or sources to technical drawings or schematics????

Welcome to the forum! There are no drawings or wiring diagrams for any Montanas…but you can find all the answers you need in this forum.

There are numerous videos on YouTube that will show how our units are constructed. These will give you a general idea what goes where. Try a search for videos “Keystone Montana factory tour”.

This is a screen shot from one video “Keystone wall construction”, and there are framing plans on the screens in the background. Design documents EXIST, but it feels to me like lawyers keep them out of the public domain.

I agree with Mike. There must be design schematics and such, but it seems they are mere suggestions and are not followed. I've seen such variation in electrical and plumbing for the same rigs coming off the same production line it's unbelievable.

I’ve been around here for a while. As far as I know no one ever found a drawing on any system of a Montana camper.
Good luck.

You'll not find any, anywhere. As stated above, your best resource is right here on these forums. And folks here will freely share any information they have to assist others.

Actually, we did liberate the Montana factory diagrams for the TV Antenna wiring system. https://www.montanaowners.com/forums...ad.php?t=37324 Unfortunately they only covered up to the 2012 era.

Beyond that, Montana hasn't made anything else available as everyone has said. There are diagrams of some electrical and plumbing systems available thanks to the efforts of members here.

Keystone does identify 12 volt wires by color as to what areas the supply. However, they do not show routing of the wires. I don’t find this unusual, not even residential homes provide detailed routing of wiring other than labeling of circuit breakers. A wire toner available at Home Depot can help trace wires hidden in walls.
