Today we celebrated #45
Today we celebrated our 45th Wedding Anniversary with our precious grandsons. We hiked a 1 mile trail (pretty good for a 3 yr old and this grandma) and had a picnic by the Colorado river. Pb & J sandwiches, apples and brownies. It was a banquet and lots of fun. It is good to be back with our loved ones and able to celebrate special occasions with them. We look forward to many more....

Great to celebrate you marriage 45 times. The only problem is how old you have to be to celebrate it. With family makes it very special. Congratulations!!!

wow hope I'm still here to enjoy our 45th lol with this one lol we are at 23 and counting but will say I've been there done that for 32 just spilt the time up a little differently congrats and wish you only the best for such a great life together hope I too can anounce the very same thing one day

Congrats on the 45 years! Sharon and I have been married 40 years and have loved every minute of it. God has been good to us and it sounds like He has blessed the two of you too!

Congrats on your 45th. We celebrated our 45th yesterday, 11/04 too. Our 2 daughters came over from Denver and we went to Gunnison, CO to watch two of our grandsons play football, then out for a great dinner. The 2 girls waited on us like we were old fossils (which I guess we are) and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Now its time to work on our second 45 yrs!

Tim, we are in the same boat. If I had stayed married to the first one would have been celebrating 50 this year, however he passed on in February so there wouldn't have been a celebration. Ed and I are on 21.
I think it is great to hear of all of the lasting committments. You are all to be congratulated.

Congratulations, we just had 42 on Oct. 17th. We have something up on the younger ones don't we..... a long solid marriage! ( I tell my hubby that I guess I will keep him as I don't have time nor do I want to train another one!)

Thanks everyone for your best wishes. I guess it does mean we are a little older!!!! Our 6 yr old grandson announced today "that if we weren't dead when he grows up that he would build us a house as the 5th wheel was kind of small"... I think I will take him up on that as I don't plan on being dead! LOL. We will probably be ready to settle down by then. or maybe not!!! Heres to the next 45.
