making cables for Honda 2000i gen

I am in the thought process of making a set of cables to parallel 2 honda 2000i generators. I have the banana plugs on hand. I saw a replacement 30 amp receptacle in the 2003 camping world P/N 20473 (page 146). Anyone used this and any reason not to use for the parallel cable project?
