Level up problem/sensor location

I have a 2022 Montana 3121RL I have had issues for a while. Dealership blames it on voltage. Lippert tells me to locate the sensor on the rear. I cannot find it, could it be under the underpinning? 6 point system has started to want to lift all the way to the right. I manually reset it but continues to do the same.

I don't know about your unit, but on mine there are three parts to the system. The control panel, the controller which is located on the overhead in the front battery compartment and the sensor with is located near the back of the unit on the frame. The second photo was taken during a factory tour of a frame before the floor was put on. The sensor is just forward of the fresh water tank.

Looks like definite underpin removal. Funny Lippert tech didn’t say this. Doubt my extended warranty will cover the repair or diagnosis cost.

The rear sensor is typically located rear of the rear axle. Within the first few feet rearward of the axle. Centered. A fastener might have broken or come loose and now sensor is sending strange values to the brain. Might simply need rescuring.

Are you saying I should see it without removing underpinning?

No. It is between the top of the frame and the bottom of the frame. Lippert recommends mounting within the first few feet rear of the axles.

Your extended warranty should cover ALL electronics. At least mine does. I'd submit a claim. As far as accessing the sensors, you'll have to cut a square hole in the coroplastand locate.

I would not recommend cutting your coroplast; it is easy enough to take down.
