We literally wore the tread off the 4 Sailun's that came on our 2018 High Country 310RE in about 5,000 miles. I've since replaced them with Carlisles and they are doing well but I keep my speed to 62 mph. The extra time it takes is more than offset by my comfort level.

I have just returned to Florida from an extended trip to Washington State and points in between.Before I hit the Highway I took a look at the speed limits of all the states I would be going thur for RVs. Most states have a 65 mph limit others say Rvs at truckers speed limits.
How fast you drive is up to you. Just remember blow outs do happen and the fast equals more damage.

California is posted 55 if towing and I go thru 1/2 of California getting down to Arizona. You can run 62 and not be bothered by the police. Passed many a cop in a speed trap along freeway and they don't give you a look going 62.

I feel uncomfortable doing 70ish or over, as I've done while passing slower moving vehicles. Sixty-five is comfortable for me.

60-65 is comfortable for us. We're retired and don't have to drive like we're on vacation anymore.

1400 rpm is the sweet spot on my truck. At this rpm I'm doing about 65mph. I try to keep it there but if I need to bump up the speed to 70 there is still plenty of ponies left.

No idea why a previous poster only got 20k out of a set of Sailun. I put over 40k in 3 years on my last 5er.
I generally run 65. Comfortable and a few minutes later arrival on a 400 mile day is no reason to go faster.

My truck gets the best MPG at 65 but I will do 70 sometimes and 75 or whatever it takes to pass slower traffic when needed.

X2 on knowing speed rating for your tires, along with weighing your trailer at the scales...65mph cruise control for us, i will let it coast down hill up to 70 sometimes in good traveling conditions, but no more than that.

I suggest you keep a pretty steady eye on your mirror if you're going to run ten or more miles per hour below the posted or actual speed of the traffic. As distracted as many drivers are one of them may well run into you if they fail to realize that you are driving much slower than everyone else.
I had a truck rear ended when he was pulling a hill at less than 50 mph after entering the Interstate from a hard stop and being unable to accelerate faster account of the grade. The really sick part of this story is that there were two people in the vehicle that hit him. Seems like at least one of them would have been looking ahead where they were going....

I normally set my cruise for 65. I will go up to 70 once in a great while, but not normally. This is regardless of what tires will do.. Just like to "putz" down the road and enjoy the scenery without being a road hazard!
Everyone is different but that is what I am comfortable with. Used to drive semi's over the road and had to be a certain place at a certain time. Now I don't have to!

Our tires are rated for 65 mph max; on 65+ roads I set the cruise control at 63-ish so that on the downhill stretches I don't exceed 65. Otherwise I use the truck speed limit.

Usually 65. I’ve pulled as high as 75-80 on the interstate and felt fine but prefer to save a little money on diesel by keeping it lower.

65 all day every day, it's not a race, not trying to set a land speed record while towing. Enjoy the ride to the destination. There have been times I had to push it to 70 or we were getting ran over or pushed out of the way, but even no issues in the 3500 DRW towing the 3700LK

Generally set the cruise at 67 on the Interstate as that's the sweet spot for the truck, or lower if the traffic flow dictates it. I will inch to around 70 if passing so as not to become the engine of a freight train, but I don't think I have ever hit 75.
On secondary roads I stay at speed limit or flow but never over 60.
I think keeping with flow, not backing up traffic and keeping a safe distance is more important than the mph number. I just don't want to be "that old man" that the other drivers are cursing at.
