12v Electrical Distribution Panel
It's my understanding that when a fuse blows, or is pulled from this panel, the red light above the fuse lights up. I was working on an over the bed head board light, pulled the fuse and on came the light. Did some work, put the fuse back in, checked the bed light and then removed the fuse again...and the red light did NOT come on. Everything seems normal...and works properly...except that none of the over the fuse lights will not come on when that, or any other fuse is removed.
All fuses are okay...suggestions??

I think that the light will come on only if there is a load on the circuit so that there is a path to ground. Try turning on the light then pulling the fuse.

Tom,
firetrucker is correct. The red LED has to have a demand for voltage to light up. Therefore the switch or 12VDC item has to be turned on.
Good catch. Frustrating when it does not work the way we think it should.
