Hi,
Just joined a few minutes ago. I have a 2005 Chevy Duramax and a Pullrite SuperGlide 16k hitch. However, I'm still looking for the right Montana! I hope to buy one in the next month or two. Prices in Arizona are much higher than back east. I was quoted $10k less for the same 3295RK in Michigan. I am looking for a good deal on a late model used one. If I can't find the right deal a good used one, I'll end buying a new one in the midwest. Any suggestions??

Welcome bobandcat to the MOC. I see you have already made the right choices for the TV and Hitch now it's just a matter of finding that 2955RL. As you can see by my signature the 3 make a great combination. But to be honest any Montana goes well with what you got.

bobandcat, Welcome to the MOC forum. Good luck in your search for a Montana. We love our 3295RK and after attending several RV shows and dealerships have yet to find any unit that compares with the overall quality for the price. Keep us posted on your venture.

Welcome aboard. Before we bought I emailed a number of dealers all over the country with the exact specs of what we wanted. Prices in the replies varied wildly. It sounds like maybe you've already done that. Although my TV preference is different than yours, all of the major mfrs diesels do a great job of towing. You should have no problem with any of the Montanas. The 3295RK is an excellent choice, in our opinion. Good luck and let us know how it goes.

For your information the Show price for a fully loaded 3295RK here at the Cleveland, Ohio RV show in Jan 2005 was 39,900.00 and there was still a little room to deal.Did not buy one then because we did not have the right truck..we do now..will buy one this year and plan to pay less than 39,900.00. The MSVRP in Jan was 53,525.00 I think it has increased a bit since then,39,900.00 would be @ 25% markdown and we should be able to get % 27% markdown from MSVRP. That is about standard.

Welcome to the forum and good luck finding the Montana that is right for you. We just happened to be looking for the right one for us last fall when the dealer had a used 3255RL that had just come on the lot. We felt the deal was fair so we jumped right in. Used Montanas are hard to find in our area also; in fact, new ones aren't staying on the lots very long either. Good luck and keep us posted on your progress.

Welcome to the MOC gang....we ordered a 3295RK on Jan. 20 and can't hardly
wait. I know I will have more questions after it arrives. There is lots of good info on this forum. Hope you find what you are looking for.
