Warmer days here we come

We are headed for Arizona tomorrow if plans stay on track. We will leave when ready, come home when we are done and stay where we stop. No schedule, no reservations and not to many "honey doos." We may see some of you in our travels. Any recommendations on parks in Southern CA. or Western AZ. are appreciated. We are lifetime Good Sam, Passport and SKP members.

Nothing better than a plan like that! Wish we could join you but the knee surgery has put a crimp in that idea this year! Safe travels and keep the wheels on the road!

Quite a number of nice parks in Yuma and they all have openings. I just went to 19 yesterday talking up the refuge and was very surprised at the number of available slots in very nice parks. Weather was 70 today here by the way.

DQ, that sounds good, we are in no big rush but think we'll be there Mon or Tue.

Rhondo, that would be fun, we pray for a speedy recovery.

Since we are unfamiliar with your route intentions, I can recommend some that may or may not be on your route. These are from Lodi/Stockton area and then south.

Lodi - Flag City RV at I-5 & 12 is a passport.

Bakersfield - we stay at Orange Grove before either going over Barstow & Tehachapi.

Lancaster has a fairground that was nice last year. Do not remember if Passport or not, but reasonable.

Needles KOA was reasonable this year and very friendly-family owned park.

Banning KOA has always been friendly, but a bit more $$ but, very clean easy in and out.

Cattails State park on A-95 just south of Lake Havasu is awesome.

Currently parked at Desert Gardens in Quartzsite resting up for the rally on Plamosa Rd.

Enjoy the ride and be safe out there!!!
