Monty Modifications

What modifications have you done to your 5th wheel?

My apologies if there is a thread already like this one. I didn't see one but if so the moderators may remove this if they wish.

I added a drain valve near the connection where the sewer hose connects. This will give us a gal or two more room for the grey water.

What modifications have you done to your Monty?

Great mod and here's another way to get even more gray/galley water storage.

Of course you still keep the Black tank valve closed but along with the gray water valve open also open the galley valve. Keep in mind that most of us need more gray water storage and a lot less galley water water storage and by keeping the gray and galley valves open and your mod valve closed will allow the gray water to also flow into the galley tank. Remember water will seek it's own level.

There are some really great ideas there and, obviously, a very talented group of people who are members of this forum. However, a number of the links no longer have any photos on them so this thread may need some editing by either the contributors or our wonderful moderators.

Bill-N-Donna,

This modification has been posted a number of times but yours is the first one in some time and you've got a nice picture with it.

Eeoski,

You are so correct! There have been many mods posted that saved me a lot of money and trouble. We have a great number of very talented people who, thankfully, are willing to share with the rest of us. Thank you all.

Thanks for letting me know that some of the links no longer work.
I will be setting up a new web page for my MODs but any other bad links or bad photos are the responsibility of the individual owners of the pages.
