Pick your brains on destinations

Terry & I are planning a trip in July to Michigan and a long the way we will be going through Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio & Michigan from Fl going interstae 75 to 96. We are bound for Ionia, Michigan to the MOC Rally in August then on way back to Goshen, In in September. We know practically nothing about these states and would love your help? Any great destinations a long the way to see and campgrounds too. Thanks as always for any help.

We live in Nashville and frequent many TN campgrounds. Creekside RV Park in Pigeon Forge, TN (foothills of the smokey mountains) is excellent and we usually camp right by the creek. Tons to do in this area and not far off of I75 and I40. If you make it over to Nashville, we frequently stay at the KOA in Nashville and have stayed at Two Rivers Campground right beside it as well. Both excellent campgrounds and plenty to see in the area including the Grand Old Opry. Sounds like a great road trip.

Don't miss the Henry Ford museum in Dearborn, MI.

Where to start....
Mammoth Cave National Park, (Kentucky) Corvette mueseum and factory tour (I am a 'vette fan!), Nashville music scene if you like country and old rock and roll (AND RIBS!!!).
Smoky Mountains (TN) and Gatlinburg if you want to sample the artsy, tuoristy stuff.
And if you drive a little more north, Mackinac Island is interesting.
