Silver City NM tips?
Anyone been there? Boondocking areas there?
Is it worth the trip up to it, and is it a mountain road?
Sue says Tucson too hot!!!!

Enjoyed the Community in 2011. Roads in and out were great - no problems at all. We stayed at Rose Valley RV Park - very nice. Interesting park in town - was the main street but washed away in a flood - now a city park in a ravine. Would go back again. Enjoyed the change from the desert heat.

Since you are in Tucson it should be easy pull to Silver. From/to Abq do not recommend 152. Should be places to camp off the grid in the Gila NF.
