Rear Cameras

Anyone using a rear camera that sends the signal to the monitor? IF so how do they perform?
What model is it and where did you find it.
THanks

Go with a wired unit, the wireless do not perform as needed. look up TimRVCams, I got my 2 cameras and monitor from him. He is an rv'er and gives excellent customer service, good prices too.

Fellas that is the same system I currently have and have not mounted on my current trailer as I was never convinced there was an easy way to lace the wiring to the front of the TT. With caps front and rear on this unit I am prepared to do so on the Big Sky I was just wondering if there was a good working wireless option.
I am also considering getting an extra camera from Tim for this system and mounting it on the roof so I can watch for limbs and clearance. DOnt know if that would work well.
Thanks for the quick replies.

My monitor has a 2 input plug in system, one might get an A-B switch to stretch it ot 4, you might ask Tim.
I have a rear bumper camera and the rear Montana camera.
Bob, I drilled into the cabinet, then down the wall, into the rear sewer hose storage, then down the I-beam to the front. This is the second run I made, first cable had damaged end. (My fault)

I would thing the rooc would get mounted in about the same position on the front cap as the rear one and be useful in seeing what the forward clearance is like. I don't think I would actually mount it on top of the roof as if it rains etc. the water will run down the cap rather than down the mount to the roof and potentially get past the sealant.
Your thoughts and suggestions here sought.
I am also asking Tim his thoughts on this.

The camera is strictly short range, by the time you would see something, you may be too close for reaction. The front cap mount is a good choice.

I bought the Walmart one. It is wireless. There is quite a bit of interference, but if you are using it as I am to watch my Harley on the back swivel wheel trailer occasionally, it works fine. Mine is very clear when backing. Cell phones do interefere with it if someone is following you and blabbing on their phone for a long time. I have mine wired to my tail lights, and use it constantly while moving. I mounted it on the top of the ladder, and mounted the monitor on the top of the dash.
