RV FlexArmor new roof, Presccott, AZ
I recently had my RV roof replaced by AZ RV Roof in Prescott, AZ. John Fisher and his crew are extremely professional, knowledgeable, and the FlexArmor product they use is the best option for a new RV Roof. This is the type of roof membrane that should be installed at the factory instead of the thin rubber roof that comes standard on RVs and here is why. The FlexArmor is 13/16” thick and is a seamless roof, which means you no longer need to check it every 3-6 months for leaks from failing lap sealant (caulk). During the install, they remove everything from your roof then spray the product. They then install new AC gaskets, vent covers, and have a great lineup of additional products from skylights, permanent solar panel bolts, etc. to make your RV roof look great and leak proof. If your AC starts to leak from a failing AC gasket, which potentially does happen over time, it will leak on your head inside your RV and not into your attic causing unforeseen damage. It is always the unseen leaks that cause the most damage over time. Plus, they offer a lifetime warranty on the roof. Along with all this, because the product is so thick, it actually provides better insulation, keeping the inside of your RV warmer or cooler depending on your climate. And yes, you can use this replacement with your insurance if your roof is damaged. This is a new location but FlexArmor has many locations in the south and you can see the many reviews and YouTube videos demonstrating that this roof is truly superior to all others. Give them a call, I promise you will not be disappointed.

It seems like a roof material almost an inch thick would add quite a bit of weight to a trailer. I wonder why it needs to be that thick? This seems to be just a sales pitch instead of a testimonial.

I apologize, that was a typo. It's actually 3/16". Still pretty thick and yes, it does add between 100-200lbs depending on the length but the pros well out way the additional weight.

you didn't mention what the cost was; I understand it is well over $3000.....by the time my roof is going downhill I'll buy another rig.
i'll stay with the regular roofing.

Looks like a great roof and hopefully the last one you’ll ever need. Do you care to share what the cost was?

It is 2/3 the cost of a generic EDPM roof and has a lifetime warranty unlike the generic rubber roof. Best of luck my friend.

I have a 35' Montana. It was around $6500. I received a quote for a generic rubber roof for $10K. I tore my original roof roof under some trees so this was covered under my insurance.

Interesting. Our 2010 roof is still OK, but I'm not certain for how long. Will have to look into this.

Like Techno, we caught a limb and tore our roof. Did a temporary repair and started research. Went to Reliable RV near Jackson Mississippi. They are a dealer. Super service and product. Love not having to inspect and seal seams. Ours turned out to be cheaper than a new membrane. Insurance covered cost so we see it as a big improvement. Highly recommend.

Our 2010 took a beating in the Florida sun. I used the flexible liquid roof, took ten gallons at today’s price of $85 per gallon. Goes on thick, dries fast and have helped two other snowbird neighbors do the same thing.
