New windows because of broken latches?

We have a 2019 205RL 5th wheel, last April, 2 different window latches broke. One from the large bedroom window, one from a small window near the couch. We tried to order new latches, but was told from Keystone that Covid caused back orders on a lot of parts, including latches. 5 months later, we got latches, but the wrong ones. The "peg" wouldn't fit the frame (think square peg in a round hole). They were returned, re-ordered 3 TIMES, wrong latches each time, not the same as currently on the windows.

Yesterday we were told by our RV repair service that Keystone told them that you can't JUST replace the cheap plastic latch ($2 fix), you have to remove the window, frame, seals, etc. Where 2 latches broke within 3 months of use, I can't imagine the total cost to replace 18 latches (9 windows, 2 latches per window). We looked through many RV parts stores online, and there is no similar latch.

This sounds INSANE!? Has anyone else run into this, or know how to get this nightmare fixed?
