underbelly bottom board removal
I am looking to take a peek at what's behind my underbelly bottomboard. I want to put a morryde slide out tray coming out the back compartment but want to be sure I m not going to drill into pipes/wires. The pictures show how the bottomboard is fastened. Looks like red head nails.

They are put in with a pneumatic nail gun. You can use a ratchet and socket to remove them, but you need to get some sort of pry bar between the coroplast and the frame so you can pry as you use the ratchet. Replace with self tapping bolts when done. They come out pretty easily when you follow the above.

Use a 1/4" socket. Drill CCW. Pry bar under the washers. They come right out.
Use #12, 1/2" to 1" long self tapping screws with a drop of Locktite to put coroplast back up.

Yep, 1/4” socket and a drill/driver. A lot of them will come out by gently pulling with the drill while spinning, you will have to help the rest with the pry bar.
I pulled a bunch of them to utilize the holes for mounting brake lines with the self drilling screws. When I get bored I go under and pull another dozen or so…lol. Getting close now to being rid of those stupid things. Maybe if I get them all replaced with screws for easy access I won’t have to access anything.

Does anyone know where to get that coroplast? Or is there something better to replace it with?

Amazon has it. As far as something better? I'm not aware of anything but someone here might.
