Washer and dryer

Fixing to put a set in my 2015 Big Sky RV. It has the connections set up on the slide. I will have to drill a hole for the dryer vent. Anyone know the spacing on the studs?

Wait for a dewy morning where you can see the stud locations. There are no diagrams or documentation to the actual locations. A good stud finder will also work.

A redneck approach, if you want to be absolutely sure, take your holecutter, place it against the wall where you want the vent hole, circle with a marker, and then with the smallest bit you have, drill just through the inner wall, around the circle and middle.. If you don't hit anything you are good to go.

I wouldn't drill a whole in my rig without it. Too many unknowns with wiring and plumbing.

For reference - I found this pic showing where the dryer vent was installed in the slideout...just to get a general idea.

I am guessing Foldbak meant to make that Post on this Thread. I will PM him (if he doesn't see this first) and ask. It is good info and can be easily moved to this Thread.

MOD Edit: Post moved here (above) where it belonged.
