Phase transfer switch

What is everybody using for their inverter to feed 30 amps into the 50 amp panel?
I hear the AM solar SPS smart phase selector is not being sold.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks Charlie

Don't understand the question. The newer RV's have a 50 amp TS. If equipped with an inverter, the inverter has a built in TS that passes shore or gen power when present. If not present it starts to invert. It has a built in 20 amp breaker and directly feeds designated outlets. No connection to the panel. The TS switches between the gen and shore power. Progressive Dynamics is popular but there are several to choose from.

Your question is not clear.

Are you talking about an inverter to convert 12 vdc battery power to 120 vac? (That would take over 300 amps of 12 vdc to create 30 amps of 120 vac).

Or are you talking about an inverter generator to supply 30 amps of 120 vac?

I think there's a 'terminology' issue.

RV power is Single Phase.

Your choices are 30A single phase or 50A single phase (2 legs 110V same circuit.) Your RV decides what to do from there.

I think I understand, Charlie. You want to feed both 50a legs of your coach when on a 30a connection. I actually have the Smart Phase Selector - I wasn’t aware they quit selling it. It works great for me. Victron now makes an inverter with a built in 50a transfer switch, so maybe that’s an option?
