Can anyone recommend a good repair shop in Collin County (Allen, McKinney, Frisco)
I'm looking for a good RV repair shop for a significant structural repair on our 2017 Montana 3811MS. The aluminum welds between the vertical and horizontal aluminum frame members cracked in back two feet on the door side wall - causing the back right corner of the back wall to come loose from the side wall and subfloor. I am not looking for mobile repair - I'm looking for a shop that will work with my insurance and can do a complete repair - not just a patch job. I'm in Allen, TX - but can drive up to an hour or more - whatever it takes to find a shop that is honest and does good work.

Bruce - I have no experience with such shops, but googling - this place in Burleson looks interesting…check out their website.
Edit: also Coach Specialists in Mansfield
Specialized RV Service in Alvarado
All RV Custom Coach & Collision in Burleson
If you run out of DFW options - call these guys in Georgetown to see if they do those repairs (I know…too far to drive)…

I nearly ripped the rear cap off mine when tail swing caught a steel column. I used Coach Specialist of Texas in Mansfield. They also have a branch facility in Plano. I dropped my trailer off at the Plano center and they towed it to Mansfield for the repairs.
Very happy with them. They are very proficient in fiberglass repair and recommended the repair rather than an extended wait for a new rear cap. They handled all the interface with my insurance company, got approval for the repairs, completed the repairs, and had it ready for pickup in less than 3 weeks. And that included a July 4th long holiday weekend in the middle. Looked as good as new. Something over $14,000 total. But only $500 to me for my deductible.
The Plano facility is on Plano Pkwy between Ave K and Jupiter. I don’t know if they do frame welding repairs, but certainly worth asking.

Call United RV. (817) 834-714 in Ft. Worth off of hwy 121. They are a Keystone approved service/repair facility. I have had an entire rear cap replaced by them and worked with my insurance company. They do good work, and warranty their work. I’m sure they do aluminum and steel welding. Ask for Patrick Owsley, service advisor and discuss with him. Their work is QA by the shop supervisors after repairs is complete, before you get it back. If they do make a mistake, they fix it with no fuss and you are at the front of the line. Friendly and want you coming back, so good service is their goal. Hope this helps.

If you need to stay local, I second using United RV. They have a strong reputation for repairs, communication during repairs and follow up.
The penultimate shop for these type of repairs is Affinity RV in Goshen, Indiana. That’s about an 1100 or 1200 mile trip for you, but, Affinity is the best in the business in my opinion.

I second United RV. They fixed a dent/scrape in the skirt of our previous RV. I cut a corner too close and a pipe scraped a long dent. They did it in the time they promised, which i think they had it for 4 days. They had all the materials ready before i came in.

I ended up going to Patriot's RV in Aubrey...
I was referred by a friend to Patriot's RV in Aubrey. I'll provide an update later with feedback. Thanks for all of the replies and recommendations.
