Ice maker

We have a 2021 3931fb. Haven't used the ice maker for over a year. Was going to start using it this winter while down south. Replaced the filter and have no water going to ice maker or water tap in fridge. Never shut off either shut offs water values. Got a filter bypass from Amazon and still don't work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have water in the frig for filling up a glass. If so check n see if you have water there. Also check the ice marker arm make sure it is set to where the ice maker is turn on. If it is in the correct position then it just might need to be reset. Google the frig brand and get instructions on how to reset the ice maker. I have had to reset mine a few times after not using it for awhile.

I don't have any water at the tap either.

I have same “ice maker” question for my Samsung RF18. I have hit the reset button several times already. It responds with mechanical movement but no ice yet. I have checked both water valves, and both are in the ON position. We are headed home today…i was thinking about actually turning it OFF and let it defrost or whatever for a few days. This would be the first time i have EVER turned it off in 5 years. It has been running virtually constant because we are always plugged in or on inverter…like the old fridge in the garage…so far, it takes a lickin’ and keeps on tickin’.

Check to see if there is water at the shut off closest to the fridge. If yes, try resetting/testing the ice maker. If yes to water and still nothing, you would have to trouble shoot why the dispenser switch isn’t working or if dispenser is shot. You should be able to hear the dispenser pump cycle momentarily when you power up the refrigerator. (Not just turn fridge on with the buttons at the top, but actually powering up the circuit to the fridge. I can hear this even when the fridge buttons are off when I turn the inverter on or plug in shore power)

Check under the sink. We have a cut off there, as well as under the cabinet drawer closest to refrigerator.
