Welcome to the MOC, and congratulations on your new rig from a Wyoming Native Ex-Patriate in the NW.

Thanks

Thank you all who have responded. Reading this forum I’m amazed at the knowledge and willingness to help each other. I’ll do my best to contribute in a positive way. I know very little about RV’s but I’m learning. Currently living in a 2008 Keystone Raptor MP299 which I bought new and was my 1st fifthwheel. Been living full time in the Raptor since Jan in Laramie Wy. Having a house built. Decided I no longer needed the garage and now I’m retired and kids gone I want comfort. Chose the Montana after living in cold, at times sub zero temps in a 12 yr old keystone camper that has amazed me at how well it’s holding up and how it holds heat. That keystone raptor has been amazingly hearty. Never really issues that didn’t result from simple lack of easy maint. The dinette only seating has destroyed my back though! All I did was add tank heaters, some reflective window insulation and a custom vinyl skirt. I’m planning on selling the raptor. Pick up the 3854BR next week. Only seen it on video. It’s going to be a really big upgrade for me. Building an 80x80Ft Morton building that I can store it in (with hook ups) when not in use.
