Transporting Monitors
Hello! Anyone have recommendations for travelling with computer monitors? I have 2 stand alone monitors I need for work. Not huge, each is about 22". Any ideas for transporting them in the 5'er will be appreciated. I don't want to re-box them every time we have to travel. Thank you!

In our old TT, I used to wrap in a beach towel and lay face down on the bed. Now I just travel with a desktop replacement capable laptop.

My wife made quilted covers for our chairs. Something like that would work well for computer monitors. If you know a local quilter they may be able to help.

We used to lay our tv screen down on the center of the bed. Never had any trouble.

We did the same, face down on the bed.

Ditto. 2 25" monitors just laid on the bed. We move every week for the bulk of the last 2 years and have never had an issue.

The front of your camper is the smoothest riding place in your camper. I know I love to take a nap up there while traveling. Lay them on your he bed and throw a couple heavy blankets over them.

I was taking my two monitors up and laying them on the bed, but it seemed like I was always bumping into something with them. Decided I was too clumsy and was going to break one moving them up and down the stairs every few days.
We had replaced the dining table with an Ikea desk. It's right over the axles, so bounce is minimal. Now I lay a thick blanket down on the desk, lay the monitors face down on it, throw a heavy blanket or rug on top of the monitors and then stack the keyboard, mouse, files, etc. on top of that.
It's been about 8 or 9,000 miles since then and haven't had a problem.

I have two 24 inch monitors and they ride just fine on the bed, or I set them standing on the floor of my dinette slide putting a pillow between the wall and one monitor, a pillow between both monitors since they’re side-by-side and a pillow between that monitor and a dinette chair. I traveled over 3000 miles this year with no problems.
