Hello from Savannah

Thank you for accepting us into your forum.

We're picking up our new Montana High Country this Friday from the CW in Myrtle Beach. What a great buying experience, which is coming from someone who detests buying vehicles.

We're excited to find this forum as it has the appearance that it will help address some of the specific issues that will inevitably arise.

Regardless, we're moving up from a smaller Rockwood Fiver that served us well for several years, but we wanted the traditional bunk room and half bath (funny that is so common in BHs nowadays). We're excited to use it once areas start opening back up.

Now parking, that's going to be a steep learning curve given the length difference. I opted for the rear and side cameras to help, plus a little practice in an empty parking lot is in order before trying out a full campground!

Welcome to the forum! May your new rig bring you many years of wonderful memories. The thing that makes backing easier is communication between partners. Hand signals help, but we've used the cell phone thru the truck to communicate during our 10 years of full timing and that has worked well for us.

Welcome ~ my last 4 units came from CW in Myrtle, great prices and service. I hope Suzie was your salesperson and most likely Sean was the sales mgr that signed off on your deal.

Good luck with service there. I’ve heard nightmare stories from folks that tried to get repairs and repairs done right.

Welcome to the forum. We use the cell method when backing. DW on her cell and I in the truck with hands free. Has worked well. Also parking lit practice is a good idea.
