can that pulley be seen? or is it covered by molding when open or closed?
I ask because I had similar issue. I screwed a metal plate into the wall and added thread certs to where the pulley would mount, mounted pulley. now its has at least twice the holding power, but its butt ugly fortunately when opened its hidden. just an idea if mobile tech is weeks out before he can get to you.

Might i suggest using 3M5200 to bond the pulley assembly to the wall. A bit of it with a screw very loosely put in place to hold the assy until the 5200 is dry and don't squeez e out the 5200. Once dry, then the cables can be re-tensioned.

Well, it took all day. Found a local machine shop. Bought some 1/8x1x7 steel. Left a HEFTY deposit and borrowed his nutsert kit. Had to get the plywood wall out of the way to get nutserts to lock in. Then had to remove wall material for the steel behind pulley assembly. Put 1/4" bolts in to hold bracket and used original fasteners on the ends of steel. UTUBE to learn how to adjust cables. Had to loosen them up to get back on pulleys.

Think I'll wait before putting header back on with screws verses little bitty nails.

Thank you all for feedback. Still had time to explore Custer SD

I forgot to add, find out what caused that to come out. Something is not right for that to pull out. What I found on mine was one of the trucks (bracket that holds the 2 cables while moving) had rotated a bit. both truck should be vertical so when they pass they don't get hooked up on each other, one of my truck was canted a little horizontal and snagged the other truck when passing, resulting in pulling the bracket out.
good luck and happy travels

Before and after

Cause??? I'm thinking a torque gun was not used on original install the way the holes were egg shaped.

Going to stop by the dealer after the trip to get cables adjusted properly.

People can do almost anything if they will just try. Glad it is fixed.

Don't lose sleep. Look at some YouTube videos and do some preventative maintenance. They'll go for years

I have 2011 MHC and never had a problem with the cable slides. It’s a good system if it’s installed properly. Any slide mechanism will give someone trouble.

Had our bedroom cable slide motor quit. They put a new slide motor in. Cable grabbed motor and ripped it off the wall! THEY INSTALLED A BEEFY wall bracket instead of ripping the wall apart. I think I'd rather have the electric motor under r r the bed with rails to move the slide...No problems and simpler..
