Electrical puzzle
I have a 2018 Montana HC with dual ACl, 50 amp system and a on board Gen. Camping at a fairground this past weekend hooked to 30amp hookup with too many campers on the system, causing voltage to constantly fluctuate dropping below 104V. This caused my EMS to kick off and cycle my AC. Now I have some weird electrical issues. Without shore power my panel doesn’t show battery power, but my slideouts and auto lift still function. When I add shore power the panel shows full battery power. (And the 4 6 volt batteries all test 6+ V. ). When the EMS cuts power all the lights go out, which I guess is correct since it is inline installed behind the front call space headed to the main electrical panel. Can’t figure if I have an issue or just concerned after tour days of fighting bad electrical hookup.

Check the battery disconnect switch in the convenience center. The key should be in the position where it can't be removed. This is a typical symptom of the switch being Off.

Check the auto-reset fuse in the battery compartment. Test both side with multimeter (red probe to each side of fuse and black probe to chasis ground). If no 12v on both sides then the fuse is probably toast.

Your 12 vdc lights should work without shore power, whether you are unplugged or the EMS disconnects power. Sounds like your battery meter only shows power if your converter is on.
Apparently battery power is not making it to your 12 vdc fuse panel. Since your disconnect switch is apparently correct, with shore power off I would check for 12 vdc on both posts of each auto reset circuit breaker. And if correct there, check for 12 vdc at your fuse panel. Then decide which direction to go next.

Hmmm checked again cycling back and forth and it now will come out in its original position and is locked in in providing power in the other position. Appears to provide DC to interior lights, Still issue getting Onboard generator on line. Do you need fully charge batteries to get generator to comeonline or do I have another problem.???
